Part 2 of Ensemble Échos' Five O'Clock Baroque! series is coming up on Sunday 29 November at 17.00 (GMT). This week's work is Bach's 'Organ' Trio in G Major BWV 525. This is a transcription of the trio for organ in E-flat Major. It's thought that this work began life as an ensemble instrumental trio before Bach transcribed it for organ as an instructional work for his son, Wilhelm Friedemann. Here is a brief taster:

After months of no performance, Ensemble Échos is pleased to present a series of short performances for Sunday Teatime:

Beginning on Sunday 22 November at 17.00 (GMT) we will be sharing three live performances of trios and quartets by the giants of the baroque period, Bach, Telemann and Handel. We recorded these just before lockdown at St. Helen's Church in Worcester.
